It is annoying to change profile picture in wordpress from gravatar. The website admins, authors, contributors or subscribers don’t feel comfortable to create an account on gravatar.com. They want to change their profile picture easily.
When anyone comments on a post, it shows the commenter’s name with a photo. Who did not set their gravatar photo, it shows a by default white gravatar photo. By adding your own default gravatar image, you can make your comments section branded.
In this article, we will learn how to create an option for changing user gravatar images easily for everyone like admins, authors, contributors, subscribers etc. Just follow the below steps one by one.
Step 1: From WordPress Admin Dashboard, “Plugins” >> Add New
Step 2: Write “WP User Avatar” in the search box
Step 3: You could see “WP User Avatar | User Profile Picture” Plugin>> Click On “Install Now” & “Activate” .
Step 4: Now Click on “Edit Profile”
Step 5: Scroll down and you could see an option “Avatar” >> Choose Image (Select Your Desired Image From Your Device) >> Update Profile.
Happy! Done. Now anyone can change profile picture in wordpress within some seconds.
Let’s see some other options of this plugin. You can see an option in your dashboard named “Avatars” >> Click on “Settings” >> Check the options which do you need (ex. If you want to allow the contributors , subscribers to upload Avatars, check that box). Also you can set a default gravatar image for all (who did not set gravatar images).
Another option “Avatars” >> Click on “Library” >> here you could see who uploaded their avatar images with username and uploaded time also.
